A letter from the secretary addressed to all......
Hi every one,
I have been asked by some members is and when will the club open.
As far I know some clubs ie Bisley camp is opening which have limited
spaces booked in advanced, their clay shooting is open but again keeping
to the stick distancing rules and I think in law we could.
But how can we open and keep the safe distant between one another at
Parracombe.
The clubs shooting space is so small we can not stay save, Three members
would be the maximum at any one time.
With that in mine how would some be able to shoot and others cannot we
all pay our dues and I do not think some member can go and others
cannot.
If we did a rota some this week some next week who is go to police it
with over 50 members it will be very difficult.
If members think because the club is in an open space it is safe I think
they are wrong.
Other clubs use the range we have a lot of hard surfaces and we have a
lot of older members in our club including me.
Just to go and fire at a paper target is it worth spreading the virus
even more or wait a couple of more weeks and then go back.
Yes we will open and get back to normal but let us be there safe and
well for each other and be able to tell our stories and have a good
laugh together.
I am only the secretary we all have a say in the running of the
club!!!!!
Regards to you all keep safe,
Collon.
