Range reopening
Right, here goes........
Hopefully we have decided on a way to reopen the range to OUR members.........
It has been decided as follows :
As there is not enough room for all members to shoot at the same time (and keep 2 meters apart) this what has decided, as there are three fixed shooting benches on the range three members could shoot at the same time and still keep the 2m apart - Carl Thorne has been there and he suggested that dividing boards could be put up to keep members even safer when shooting.
So to give all members a chance to shoot (if they want too that is) this is what we have come up with :
"Members who wish to shoot should email me with a date and time when they would like to be there by Wednesday of the that week, we can then sort a rota out for that week and email them with their allotted times,
To start with each member will get 1 hour shooting - that is 3 members per hour x 7 hours on a Sunday = 21 members per day x 3 weeks that give every one at least a chance, As for those who travel a long distance (Exeter etc.) they will get a 2 hour slot because of the distance traveled.
I know that not every one shoots regularly so that will mean there will be more hours that are more hours available so other members can shoot longer.......
As for the 4th week of the month that could be for clay shooting as we now are allowed to do this too....... as we would mix with max. 6 people at a time, keep 2 meters apart and shoot clays down range this will not be a problem..........."
Any questions regarding this arrangement please email me here, anything else just use the contact page as normal.
Stay safe........
